ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR EPFO ASSISTANT : 

A) Nationality / Citizenship : 

A candidate must be either:

(a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  

B) Educational Qualification FOR EPFO ASSISTANT :

Must possess Degree from recognized University or equivalent as on 25th June, 2019

C) Age –(as on 05-10-2018) FOR EPFO ASSISTANT : 

Must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on  25th  June,  2019.  (Relaxable  for  SC/ST/OBC,  Employees  of  Government  of  India, employees of EPFO and Persons with Disability as per rules).

Lower age limit for all categories (not born after) : 25.06.1999
Upper age limit (Date of Birth not earlier than) :
UR : 26.06.1992
OBC-NCL : 26.06.1989
SC/ST : 26.06.1987

Candidates should ensure that they possess/fulfill all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the post(s) as on the closing date for online registration of application i.e. 25th June, 2019.
CANDIDATES WAITING FOR FINAL RESULTS OF PRESCRIBED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION SHOULD NOT APPLY.

SCALE OF PAY FOR EPFO ASSISTANT : Level- 7 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) under 7th Pay Commission with Entry Pay Rs. 44,900/-. In addition to Pay they will also be eligible for DA, HRA and Transport Allowance and other allowances as per rules in force from time to time. 

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION : Scheme of Examination for the post of Assistant is as under :-

Phase I - Preliminary Examination will have following sections as follows :
English Language
Reasoning Ability
Numerical Aptitude

Phase  II - Main Examination will have following sections as follows :
Reasoning/ Intelligence
General/ Economy/ Financial Awareness 
English Language
Quantitative Aptitude
Descriptive Paper (English Language with emphasis on comprehension and analysis)

CENTRE OF EXAMINATION :
While applying online application, candidate must select the centre in the application form in which he/she desires to take the exam.
The examination will be conducted online in venues given in the respective call letters.
No request for change of centre/venue/date/session for Examination shall be entertained.     

HOW TO APPLY :
Candidates can apply online upto 25.06.2019 through the website www.epfindia.gov.in and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Candidates to go to the EPFO website www.epfindia.gov.in or https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php and click on the option APPLY ONLINE  FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ASSISTANT-2019 IN EPFO which will open a new screen.
To register application, choose the tab Click here for Registration and enter Name,  Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be   generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.

SC/ST/PWD/ Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Economically Weaker Section(EWS) : Rs. 250/-
All other categories : Rs. 500/-
Any Tax/Bank Transaction Charges will be borne by the candidate. 

MODE OF PAYMENT OF FEES (ONLINE MODE) : - The application form is integrated with the payment  gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
